I have been seeing Dr Kumar and the physicians at Greater Heights Holistic psychology for years and highly recommend it. Dr Kumar has gone above and beyond to support me and offer me different options for treatment. He really cares and takes the extra effort for his patients, even communicating after hours to make sure I am getting the support that I need. When I experienced an emergency he responded right away and helped me, which was beyond any care I've received in the past. The clinic and physicians have taken the time to get to know me, my current situation, and my concerns. This is not the typical psychiatric office that just gives you a prescription. The physicians at the practice all care deeply and go above and beyond. Describing the practice as holistic is truly accurate. ~ Roxie R
My mom has been a patient of Dr. Kumar's for several years. As her caregiver, I accompany her to her appointments. I appreciate the time and genuine care Dr. Kumar gives her. He demonstrates patience with her and gives practical advice, but more importantly, he is a good listener. He never rushes her and always takes the time for any input I may have. When it comes to medication changes, he always considers what me and my mom have to say, and makes decisions as a team member, in order to provide the best results with the least amount of medication as possible. It is so refreshing for a doctor to respect the opinions and concerns of their patients and their caregivers. And as an added plus, Dr. Kumar has a good sense of humor. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good psychiatrist. ~ Shara
My daughter has been seeing Dr. Dharmendra Kumar for a few months. Today she asked me to sit in with her. We started out with his wife, and they switched her to Dr. Kumar at one point and I was disappointed. But, after meeting with him, I must say, I wholeheartedly approve. He has a sense of humor and a caring that came across throughout the visit. He asked questions, many questions and he respectfully took my observations into account, while obviously maintaining her primary position as the patient. He was able to speak plainly with her about what needed to change, but did so in an understanding way and with leeway. He is willing to communicate with her other providers.
